The Rise of Enduro: Colorado Premier
Big Mountain Enduro, Yeti Cycles, Shimano and Oskar Blues Brewery are kicking off the year with with The Rise of Enduro movie premier in Colorado on Friday, January 9 at the Boulder Theater. The Rise of Enduro is a glimpse at the history of enduro and and weaves the story of the sport while showcasing the world’s most respected riders riding some of the most epic, breathtaking terrain in the world.
Join BME for early registration with no on-site fees, huge prizes from our great sponsors, raffles, athlete and ambassador appearances and more. The evening begins with happy hour at George’s next door to the Boulder Theater, and doors opening for the movie at 7 p.m. We are raffling off a brand new Yeti SB5c frame, wheels/components from Shimano, Oskar Blues gear and more! Proceeds benefit the CAN’d Aid Foundation and Boulder Mountain Bike Alliance.
Only a small percentage of slots are available for early BME registration, so show up early to secure a spot in next year’s much anticipated series! Registration will open to the public for Snowmass, Keystone and Winter Park on Monday, January 12 at 9 a.m. on imATHLETE, and for Enduro World Series Crested Butte on February 4 at 10 a.m. on EventBrite.
The Yeti Cycles Big Mountain Enduro Series presented by Shimano, is an authentic multi-stage, multi-day annual Enduro series throughout the most picturesque vacation destinations in the Rocky Mountain region. This highly anticipated sports entity offers some of the biggest and most challenging terrain in and around these mountainous landscapes.
BME races tie in epic backcountry Enduros on big terrain, as well as combining lift-accessed stages throughout the series. This rapidly growing discipline combines the physical endurance of cross-country riding with the technical difficulty and excitement of downhill racing. Big Mountain Enduro will host the only US stop of the 2015 Enduro World Series (EWS) in Crested Butte, Colorado. In sum, this unprecedented series showcases some of the best trails in North America, while hosting many of the top all-around mountain bikers from across the globe, ultimately catering to all types of riders in an entertaining atmosphere for the entire family and local communities to enjoy.a
