UCI and Kwangl join forces to bring a fun interactive quiz to the MTB fans
Thanks to the generous contribution of UCI partners and event organisers, Mountain Bike fans can now get their hands on GoPro cameras, SHIMANO equipment, Santini kit as well as money-can’t buy prizes simply by joining for free the brand new website Kwangl.comand then tweeting each competition’s specific hashtag.
Kwangl.com, the first ever website to reward the public for taking part, have provided a fun, reliable and free platform for the fans to participate, enabling the UCI to reach out to the mountain bike community as a whole.
After six legs of the UCI MTB World Cup, hundreds of participants from 84 different countries have entered the quiz competitions so far.

This initiative has given the UCI an opportunity to promote its partnerships with the UCI MTB World Cup such as SHIMANO, GoPro, Santini and RedBullMediaHouse and raise awareness about the UCI MTB World Cup events from a different angle. Event organisers, sponsors and UCI have all communicated about it through social media making this initiative an immediate success.
From the users’ point of view, it has also been warmly received as Sasha explained: “I thought combining #advertising + socialmedia would be annoying. @thisiskwangl makes it fun & rewarding #4ThePeople.”
A priority has been to make it as user-friendly as possible for the users whilst keeping it fun and light for the participants: “No, I don‘t like it. I love it!” tweeted Riccarda about the quiz.
